"We have been using Actinic Catalog for over 1yr and have found it to be really easy to understand and very easy to customize the in-built templates to suit our store. However, we have found that there is limited ecommerce functionality pre-built-in.
Actinic Catalogue does not have built-in Coupons , Wishlists/gift list, Real-time account creation, wholesale customer separate pricing, affiliate/reward point programs, 'email-a-friend' options, 'email-me-when-this-product-is-back-in-stock' options, which a number of other carts offer for the same price. Whilst you might not need all those features now...your ecommerce store would soon outgrow Actinic Catalog and you would need to buy another cart.
We are currently considering moving our site a new cart software which can offer us more ecommerce functionality than Actinic Catalog."
