It is an excellent cart for beginner to advanced user, primarily due to the excellent support forums and tutorials. I have seen people with little HTML knowledge, and in some cases barely capable of using their PC, have a functional cart within 10 days to two weeks. Those with a good knowledge of HTML and CSS can have a very fancy cart with minimal effort. I totally disagree with any suggestion that is a "techie" project."
