"This looks really good but the reviews here and elsewhere don't point out that there is a premium version and some of the recent features are only available in that. the one most people wanted to see was their customers not having to log in separately to the Ecwid site; release 0.9 (I think) sorts this by introducing a single sign-on so the switch is smooth for customers, but this is only available on the premium version.
I read loads of reviews and was impressed by Ecwid but when I installed the plug-in and saw this I deleted it. Off to eShop next!"

"I was using Shopsite, but just got tired of paying $20 a month... I just never really had enough biz to support it. I went looking for a free cart and chose Ecwid for it's reviews and when I went to their site, I really liked the little video. It REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE! I can't say enough great things about this cart, simple, effective, easily manipulated, EXCELLENT FAQ page, huge forum and on and on. Admittedly, I am not techy at all... but with a little time, I was able to navigate this cart and get it into a Google Site in just a short while! LOVE IT! THANK YOU!"

"We don't know alot about coding. Tried ecommerce templates, tried cs cart and tried x cart. All were way beyond our ability. X cart had great customer support and forum and recommended we try ecwid. We were able to easily intergrate it into our website and had it up and running in a day. We are still adding products but found it easy and has great support through the forum. They now have a paid version which is $12/month or you can go for the free cart. The only main difference is seo visibility and the number of products you can add. Ecwid is also good because they are always improving and adding features + if you want to start learning code you can do it with ecwid. The database is kept on their server and you only need to follow 3 steps to intergrate it into your own site before you start adding your items. They can do realtime shipping, facebook, youtube and a number of intergration into social media sites."
