"I’m not sure if these reviewers are talking about the same shopping cart Fortune3, or what their experience was like, but I switched to Fortune3 just over 9 months ago and my business has quadrupled ever since. Fortune3's staff is always friendly and ready to help and I’ve never had a better customer support service from any company, and their software does everything I need and more, and is easy to use. I would recommend this cart to anyone."

"a less than average cart with very few or no feature upgrades,they say it is easily customizable but it is not, and if you need fortune3 to do any customization, then get ready to pay through your nose, for a normal Geotrust ssl(quick ssl premium)
certificate which cost$149, fortune will charge you $349 a whopping $200 margin.
like this you will be paying a premium for every small modifications/changes
and above all like a cherry on top the most abusive support staff I've ever seen, they will insult you without any reason
if you are planning to subscribe, do it at your own risk
with pathetic customer service,"

"I am very very unhappy with their cart and service. I always go to uninformed call center agent and get a call back. The software is not customizable at all and there are serious limitations to what you can do. It's also overly complicated with desktop software and unintuitive interfaces. Sorry guys, I dislike Fortune3! "

"There are multiple problems with Fortune3.
Although they tell you that their store pages are easily customizable, they are hardly that, and if you fail to use one of their pre-designed templates they say that they will not support you if you have any problems. So much for customization.
Fortune3 charges a transaction fee, which they hide. It is not listed with their other fees, and to find out what it is you have to read their "Terms of Service", which is a wordy, legal document. Other providers do not charge a transaction fee, so why pay it? Also, the fee applies to wholesale sales too, so if you get a $10,000 wholesale order, there is a hefty fee.
Technical Support is rude and insulting. If you explain that you found a problem in their software, they will push back and try to convince you that you didn't use it right, even if there are blatant errors. If you complain that your website is down because their servers are not working, they will pound their chest and tell you what great uptime they have. And so on...
Their software is fragmented into two portions- a web-based part and a "Wizard" that runs on your PC. There is substantial overlap and even duplication between the two, which causes a lot of wasted time and confusion.
If you make changes using the Wizard, you have to upload the changes, and then upload them a second time so that their servers can generate what they call a "Rescue File". If you miss the second step, you have a website that you can not retrieve. It is a time-consuming and complicated process, compared to the efficient web interfaces offered by their competitors.
I used to refer others to Fortune3, and then I found they left within a few months. The basic problems are those I described- rude and insulting technical support, hidden fees, overpriced service, inability to customize without loosing "support" and so on.
If you are considering Fortune3 to base your on-line business on, I would suggest that you look elsewhere."

"For little money fortune3 takes good care of everything. The software is excellent and user-friendly.
By far fortune3 offers easy and powerful software to create an online store, and to manage the ecommerce website, sales and customers. I have tried both hosted shopping carts and open source shopping carts, but when a little problem occurred either with the software or the server my online store went down: that happened to me so many times. When I was running the website on my own server I didn't have a peace of mind, even sleeping was difficult. Off course, I was both the server and the software administrator, and believe me: that job isn't easy.
I have been with fortune3 over a year and for little money they take good care of everything. The software is excellent and very user-friendly. The new fortune application for the iphone is awesome. Customer support is outstanding. If you have a real online business and you want to keep it up and running all the time, I recommend fortune3.

The Fortune3 shopping cart offers an efficient ecommerce website solution to sell online anything from products to services: From real products that can be customized by the customer while shopping online to photos, downloadable products, and gift certificates as well.
The PC base interface to build the online storefront is fast and easy. The product import feature through Excel is organized and so fast that creating and modifying the online store takes just a few minutes.
From the data entry to managing the online store, the Fortune3 shopping cart software is an incredible tool to run and online business seamlessly.
I think that this program can achieve results comparable to the large online shopping carts. Among hosted shopping carts Fortune3 is an excellent choice."

"After trying many programs I can say that fortune3 offers the best online store builder and shopping cart solution to manage a professional ecommerce website. I can modify my webstore on the fly. "Thank you for recommeding this shopping cart. I tried it, and let me just say that
the shopping cart wizard installed successfully in my pc. It performs great - like no other ecommerce software that I ve tried. The small online store that I created is very professional. I slected one of the many template designs that come with the program.
I also like how fast and simple to use this online shopping cart is. I didn t have to worry about my website design.
I hope that the SEO (search engine optimization) that the company offers is true. I believe they do, because I made some quaries in google for some of the products offered by the featured ecommerce stores appearing in the Fortune3 web site and some of the results are in the first page."
