"My review is about my experience dealing with the company. They do not answer their phones - not even the sales line! That is unacceptable. They also make promises to call you back but do not. I cannot recommend them, even though the product seems solid. Customer support goes a long way these days, and this company is one of the WORST I have ever dealt with. It seems like a small group of about 5 or so people. They really need to get it together. "

"I just wanted to let you know how much I’m enjoying this Cart, I spent/wasted months, and many long days and tried every cart I could find before this one. I knew this was the cart for us when my wife said, I can even use and understand this cart! (For me that was your selling ticket!) Your support has been nothing short of quick, informative and helpful. Design integration was super easy, This cart is worth every Penny. Here is our Second pinnacle cart site , To many features to have a favorite, but It was up and running with shipping calculators, Google analytics, Google market Place, Wholesale settings, and bulk uploaded my full product line all in 1 day starting from scratch. "Our Pinnacle Cart has over 10,000 items which are updated by exporting the items from his billing software which has all items sold in a local database. The scripts generate the CVS files which are then imported into Pinnacle Cart. We have found this software very powerful and easy to use. Since switching we’ve seen a 500% increase in business, no kidding. As owners we are very happy with the results and with your software."

"Pinnacle shopping cart kicks butt there is no better way to say it. I used Miva Merchant for all my sites and although flexible was expensive because it didnt really come with a lot of features and any good features you did want would have to be bought extra. Pinnacle you get all the flexibility and then some compared to Miva and you dont have to buy extra modules. Their admin side is easy to use. It took me a few to sync my site design with their software but one I figured it out designing the site was a breeze. Keep up the good work."

"I frequently have issues as I am not a ecommerce cart professional, and am learning through the school of hard knocks. I just have to say that the pinnacle cart support team has provided outstanding support. Sometimes my fixes are silly and simple, but their professionalism carries through and the issue is solved. I can see they value and enjoy what they do, and are determined to satisfy customers. Customer Tech Support is not a strong point of many businesses, but it cleary is with these guys."

"When I was looking for a shopping cart for my clients, I searched tirelessly, looking at a multitude of different carts in a wide range of
costs and features. This is a time-consuming task and through the process of elimination, Pinnacle Cart kept making its way to the top of the list and stayed there. I was impressed not only in the cart, the features, and the back-end, but even in the way Pinnacle Cart sells its product via the design and available information on their website, which means to me, as a designer, that Pinnacle Cart realizes the importance of aesthetics and logical navigation which translates directly to their product. Fast forward
a few years and I am still very happy with my decision, have them installed on multiple sites, recommend them often, and have found their technical support to be repeatedly helpful and patient when it comes to questions or
trouble shooting, which wraps this whole package up very nicely.

"I have been using Pinnacle Cart for 3 years now. We have over 70,000 items and what caught my eye was the bulk product and picture import and export feature. I'm not a programmer, so I had to have a good cart with a great support team. That is why I think Pinnacle Cart is a Great Package. My support tickets are responded to promptly. I also have their 24/7 phone support which puts me directly in touch with a support team member. Thank You for a Great Product and Support."

"My firm had very little web marketing experience and subsequently had a problem with the web designer we hired for a new website we wanted to launch. After paying him for the implementation of the pinnacle software, we felt like we were not getting the results as promised by the web developer. I contacted Pinnacle directly and advised them of the situation. Mike in customer service took a professional approach, covering all bases and resolved the issue to our satisfaction within a matter of days. We could have easily suffered a financial loss and went to another software, but Mike acted in the best interest of the ultimate customer. We expect to be a satisfied client for a long time! Great cart, great support."

"After using many ecommerce systems and being disappointed with the software and support, I found Pinnacle Cart. Wow!!! This system is incredibly easy to use, full of features, best of all, IT JUST WORKS. The support is EXTREMELY fast and knowledgeable. Usually I receive an response within the same hour. I have rebuilt my entire online store in this system and it is flawless. I recommend any serious business owner to give Pinnacle Cart a try and you will see how great it is. Don Angelo"

"August 2008: Apparently, I was involved in a issue of some kind by receiving software from a subcontractor to Pinnacle cart that was not properly licensed. In a big show of force a year after I purchased the software, Mike Auger at Pinnacle emailed me and many others demanding $595 for the license. I had never heard of Pinnacle before as the software had apparently been re-branded so I didn't feel comfortable handing over any money and said so. The license fee was dropped to $150 a few days later. All of my questions went poorly answered and no issues were dealt with. I paid the $150, though never fully satisfied with the explanation that they kept spouting. October 2008: They offered to upgrade the cart software for all of the users still using the software with a third party developer that they highly recommended. Pinnacle claimed that the cart I was using was several versions behind and would soon become obsolete because of a credit card authentication system that was going to change in the future. They suggested Claim the Web, another company that has been equally poor at communication as their best developer for making specialty carts. They have made very little effort in upgrading the cart providing no information about what features the upgrade will have but they were really happy to take my credit card number for the upgrade. I asked if there was a forum or a website for the new cart but these questions went unanswered. March 2009: No word from either of these companies about the upgrade since the beginning of the year. I wrote Claim the Web asking about the upgrade and was referred to Mike at Pinnacle. Mike at Pinnacle referred me to Claim the Web. Neither of these companies has provided me any information about the upgrade.I'm very disappointed in both of these companies and their treatment of myself and others in my field who needed a specialty cart. I never understood fully why they were coming after me and not after the guy I purchased the cart from. "

"After a fair bit or research, I decided to go with Pinnacle Cart.
I, in all my years, have never written a positive testimonial about a company but the people at Pinnacle Cart have stood apart from various other companies that I have had dealings with over the years. It is a company with an excellent product that treats its customers with a level of service that I have rarely come across.
The installation of the cart was handled by the Pinnacle Cart support team and was fast, economical and without problems. The actual cart administration hugely exceeded my expectation on many counts. I found the customizability and the management of the cart to be extremely efficient, feature-rich, and intuitive to say the least.
However, my reason for offering to write this testimonial was not due to the excellent product that Pinnacle Cart turned out to be, but I offer this testimonial as I am so impressed with the company’s commitment to service. Although the process is as straight forward as could be expected, whenever I had a problem, the people at Pinnacle were extremely quick to respond and always offered friendly and personalized help.
As this was the first Cart I had to deploy, there were various parts of the process that were not familiar to me, and should the people at Pinnacle not been so helpful; I could have felt stranded trying to connect the various pieces that make an e-commerce solution work.
I will continue to work with Pinnacle for any other online store projects, as I feel secure that I will be in good hands.

"Pinnacle Cart was exactly what I was looking for when I was shopping for a solution for my online store. My top priority in an e-commerce solution was its SEO-friendly features so Pinnacle Cart definitely caught my eye. After installing and setting up Pinnacle Cart, I discovered that not only did the cart offer all the SEO-friendly features I was looking for, it also incorporates an incredibly easy template system and the ability to create custom static landing pages without any background in programming. Moreover, I was pleased with the amount third- party support for Pinnacle Cart. There are several companies who have developed some amazing modules and plug-ins for this shopping cart. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome. It was exactly what I needed to take my business to the next level."

"I have had nothing but problems with the software. Bugs after bugs popping up. Lack of support after the first 30 days (no phone after that). Stay away, if you need a system that is functional."

"I spent a long time looking for a cart before deciding on Pinnacle Cart and it was well worth my search. The cart is very easy to customize for even the most demanding of designers (me), but it can also be customized by just clicking buttons in the admin section. There are lots of nice features, such as the ability to enlarge an image from the product page, an automatic thumbnail generator, inventory control (great for antique dealers who have only one item or big sellers who go out of stock quickly), one page checkout, a straight-forward admin area to keep everything under control easily, and way much more. It is so easy to be creative with this cart and to make it function that anyone can do it. For software which performs so many complicated tasks, Pinnacle Cart makes it very easy. I highly recommend this product and I have used it now on multiple sites."

"I agree that their support is top notch. I happen to live in Phoenix so being in the same time zone as the developers helps. I'm sure that if you happen to be overseas your experience might be different because it isn't 24/7 support.
The layout is a little bit clunky because it is heavily table based however I am able to get into the source and am in the process of converting the layout to a totally CSS based layout. Once I got a feel for how the files were set up it is relatively simple. That said, I look forward to future versions that will hopefully be fully CSS based and have a separate of logic from display.
The functionality is very well thought through and simple to use. It is definitely a cart that could get you up and running in very little time. "

"I felt compelled to write a review based upon another review on this page. My experiences were very different than Jurgen's. In fact, I don't see how location makes any difference at all. My site www.frogsfrillsanddaffodils.com is completely customized on both the graphic and source code side. We found the code to be well documented and all questions we had were answered in a timely manner. Funny thing is I don't need support after the first week of getting used to the software. I recommend this software to anyone who is serious about selling online. "

"This cart is clearly aimed at those who want to get on and sell, not sit around tweaking for weeks. Lots of features to help you sell. If you want to tinker under the hood, probably not the best cart, but for those who just want to sell, and do it well, a great choice."

"This is very good software if you have no need for customizing the script, and live in the USA. However, if you don't fit into this category, don't use it. It's not flexible and the support is lousy. It's a black box company: their communications, information and support stinks, which is remarkable since it's not cheap software."
