"Absolutely excellent experience with ProductCart. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow - and I'm not an experienced DBA, sysadmin, etc. Also, with the few questions I had for their tech support, all were answered immediately, succinctly, and correctly. "After looking for an e-commerce package (proprietary or open-source) that would best meet the needs of the company I’m employed with, I decided that ProductCart had the best bang for the buck. I’ve been using it for about 3 months and interacting with their support team, I must say I am really impressed. This package offers so much, is extremely easy to use, but the best part is the support. If you ever have a question the support team will answer it for you very promptly, usually within a few hours from my experiences. The few minor bugs I’ve found along the way have been immediately fixed when I brought it to their attention.
I’m a Web Developer with strengths and preference in PHP so it was hard making the decision to go with ProductCart but I do not regret it one bit. From the start I knew I wasn’t going to find a package that would do everything we want in-house so I would have to customize parts of it. So far, I’ve been able to tweak the code and add functionalities that we require with little to no trouble at all. If you are looking for an easy to use, easy to setup, easy to modify e-commerce package with excellent support that is always available, this is the right package for you!

"We've been using ProductCart for more than a year and can honestly say it's the best cart we've come across. We used two other carts prior to this one, neither of them had all the features offered in ProductCart, and the tech support from those companies was severely lacking. The tech support for ProductCart is terrific. They are friendly and helpful, respond very quickly, and their development team is always adding great new features to the cart. ProductCart has a very extensive set of features, the instructions are very easy to follow, and the design of the cart is very intuitive. (It is easy to see the people at ProductCart have definitely put a lot of thought into designing the functions and features in the cart.) We're very pleased and would recommend this cart to anyone looking to create an online store."

"Our organization moved to ProductCart after spending the better part of a decade using an outsourced eCommerce provider. ProductCart was the most versatile solution that we found, and, with the price it's impossible to go wrong. The one area I would like to see future enhancements is product-specific features. For example, being able to limit certain products to domestic shipment only."

" I am very impressed with the shopping cart. Evaluated it for a month before purchased a license (BTO). They were so nice to even setup a seperate demo site. Great support both during eval and after purchase. Place a request on Saturday midnight, response is on Sunday morning. Lots of features.. I must have evaluated like 20 shopping cart, purchased 3 of them, but finally using this one. The store is currently in development and will be in production within a month. Lots of nice features: multiple shipment based on weight, dynamic price calculation without refreshing the page, nice picture upload utility (will resize and update the product page with one click). "I purchased ProductCart from EarlyImpact.com back in early November of 2005. I had my site up and running in a few hours. Their documentation and fast support turn around help me not waste a lot of time. It is easy to change the interface with their control panel and I was able to further customize it by modifying a few simple asp pages.
DisasterStuff.com has about 400 products and we hand coded much of the product descriptions and text to be nice to the search engines. We were able to import most of our products directly from Quickbooks with their add-on and do all the copy later, saving us a lot of time.

"This is our third cart in five years, and having experienced every heart-breaking possibility with numbers 1 & 2, realize the treasure that's here in ProductCart. The cart and its workings are elegant: from widely flexible design options; widely flexible product display and 'option' options; completely editable text; search-engine friendliness - to total customer/order/payment/shipping/processing/help-desk management, everything fits together well, with great style thrown in. The User Manual is not only intelligent, it's intelligible! Out-lying questions for specific applications are answered in the same intelligent/intelligible fashion by a support team that seems to require little if any sleep. Beyond the initial production layout, ProductCart has been the best purchase we've ever made."

"It's not easy picking out a good shopping cart that's inexpensive and easy to use (no monthly fees). There are so many out there but if choose ProductCart you can’t go wrong. Although my site is simple I had absolutely know idea of what I was doing all I knew is that I wanted the cart to blend into my site and it did with no compromises. I found the manual quite helpful although I did not read it cover to cover but by doing word searches on the User Guide file I found every thing I needed. ProductCart is very powerful which can make it very confusing at times but the service was wonderful questions were answered within 10 minutes or less either using a support ticket or just posting on there user forum. You need to understand that I do not trust computer software companies they basically all lie it has happened to me time after time but not the people at Early Impact that’s why I am writing this review. Paulie’s happy!!! "

The Product Cart is capable of implementing any change imaginable without the need for a web designer/programmer. Not only does it allow you to effectively create an online store and process orders, it also provides tools for web marketing. "

"Kudos go out to the support team for their never ending quest to a perfect product. Each store is unique I'm sure in the way administrators like to fit the site to suit their product. ProductCart is easily configurable to meet almost everyone's expectations.
Every piece of software has some sort of hidden bug waiting to be found. Because my store is unique there have been areas that may go untouched by most cart admins and customers. It's nice to know that the PC support staff is second to none in my humble opinion. They respond promptly, are not afraid to make a phone call to contact you, are always polite, and I have not waited more than a couple of hours to be assured they are working to solve the problem.
The program itself puts the competition to shame, and the support staff at PC leaves the rest behind. They are the pros but they never overlook the fact that we are their customers. You can't go wrong on this one."

"I purchased Product Cart after extensively reviewing all the available e-commerce software. It has vastly exceeded my expectations! I found it very easy to find support for customization as well as customizing some aspects of it myself. However, what really allows this product to shine is the level of customer service. "I have an ecommerce site called Innovative Walls. Being new and inexperienced with ecommerce, it was a daunting task to research shopping cart software. I needed to know how each worked, what components each had in the way of product display, merchant account connections, shipping connections and on and on. I researched many shopping cart software packages extensively. The Product Cart website is full of truthful information about their product and what it does. With all the comparisons, everything kept pointing to Early Impact ProducCart and I could not have made a better choice. With comprehensive manuals and exceptional support when it is needed due to lack of experience, I was able to set up a completely professional site. Product Cart is exceptionally well priced for the comprehensive software that it is. It has every component an internet storefront could ask for and then some. Product Cart sets up and operates with minimum hand-holding but when you do need help, the friendly support staff are there and will go above and beyond until you are happy with the results. I have never had to wait more than an hour maximum before help is there. The learning curve in using Product Cart is not steep and as I said before, the help is there in one form another whenever you need it. If you are looking for shopping cart software, I would highly recommend checking out Early Impact's Product Cart website. "Wow! I have been using this cart for about 2 years now and I love it. I searched for 2 years before I found this one. Great decision on my part! Has all the bells and whistles except I wish it did have more custom product fields so I could store more data. They are quick to answer all questions and problems if any. I paid the $50 for installation and it was well worth it. They continue to add new things to the cart with each free upgrade and makes it that much better. I'm glad I found this cart. Even though I use a Mac their admin works perfectly using the Firefox Browser. I recommend this cart to anyone who sells products online. Thanks Early Impact! < Fidjiti.com"

"I spent about 6 months evaluating all the best shopping carts. From my evaluation and our particular needs, this is one of the best ones in the industry. I've been using Product Cart from Early Impact for about 40 months now. Had a few issues with their version 2.6 but all of them went away with the upgrade of version 3.11. Some key features that I was looking for: full source code, asp language, sql database, ability to handle unlimited number of items, ability to customize screens and pages, search engine optimization features that this cart has (this feature alone is worth more than hiring a SEO company), calculation of UPS/FedEx/USPS freight charges on the fly, AJAX roll overs, their customer suport is excellent too. I've probably opened 50+ support tickets and they have all been answered (usually withing 24 hours).
If you are currently frustrated with limitation on your current shopping cart, you should look at this one. You'll probably, like me, end up saying "Why didn't I switch earlier?". Check out my site: http://www.toywonders.com

"We have three online stores using 3 different online carts, this one is the most difficult to use and has the least intuitive back end. On the rare instances that I contact their tech support department, I get an insulting reply like, "why don't you read the manual". For example, we were having a problem with the rewards points system, they told us we should have clicked on the help icon next to "reset order status". duh????
Rather than contact their "free" tech support and be insulted, I generally work thru a consultant. Of course, that is not free.
What is even worse, this is one of the few shopping carts remaining which does not generate search engine friendly urls. Consequently, it is very difficult to get your pages listed on the first few pages of Google and other search engines.
There are a lot of better choices with more intuitive back ends, customer oriented tech support, search engine friendly urls and lower cost. I suggest you pass. "

Definitely one of the most mature and sophisticated products on the market. It's way ahead of most others in power. The latest version uses AJAX technology, CSS styling, sophisticated product management, UPS & Fedex label printing and many more features. Other add ons such as the apparel add on make this a compelling choice.
