"Before I started at my current job, I didn't really know the first thing about shopping carts. I hadn't worked with them before and really didn't know what to expect. Unfortunately, I ended up stepping right into Storefront and it's really been a nightmare every step of the way.
The admin area is awful. There's evidently no way to download your order details and integrate it with a shipping solution. Oh well, that's not important anyway, right? Bulk uploads/updates of your products is similarly painful, and even requires separate software. Customization is difficult. Your product detail pages are as basic as can be, and customization can be very trying.
We're starting to work with ZenCart now and are still considering some other carts. I would recommend absolutely ANYTHING over StoreFront."

"Horrible support, will not honor money back guarantee, poor documentation. Support told me I needed developer assistance, I agreed to pay, then was told developer not available with no timeframe to schedule support!"

"I have to agree with Kelly on this one. LaGarde has a great looking web site and a tenacious sales and marketing program. But LaGarde is all about *selling* a shopping cart, not building one. Don't expect to view the forums before buying as only Storefront customers can participate in this virtual purgatory of frustration. Plan to spend at least the price of the cart again in 3rd party modules that will bring this seriously overpriced and highly inferior cart up to limp-along functionality."

"If this isn't one of the worst carts on the market, I'm not sure what is! Very expensive for it's rudimentary feature set (it can't even handle a simple 'click to see detail' photo, and is lacking in many, many other basic areas. Every patch breaks something else, and the company is non-responsive to requests for assistance. Scroll through the user forums before you buy (if they allow you to) to learn what others are dealing with. Also, take a look at third party providers, you have to buy add-ons from several vendors just to bring it up to a basic feature set. Wish I'd have kept my $1400..."
