"Purchased outright Ezimerchant Professional late 2005 and installed in 2006, the software was faulty out of the box. Contacted ezimerchant Website for assistance. Was told would not help and my software would not work unless I paid another $300 for an upgrade. The Business Development Manager in his own words said I hadnt paid enough to get support. Would only get assistance to get software I bought to work is if paid extra, either for a subscription to GTS (not applicable as software doesnt work therfore cant use GTS) or paid the upgrade.. (why pay again for software I already own rights to use???)
Recommend strongly you look elsewhere, company is short sighted,unprofessional and non customer focused, big thing though is the zero software support (unless you pay extra)
Had big expectations for this product, but totally failed to deliver, really rates zero"

"When looking around for a shopping cart/ecommerce solution for a low-end client I compared Shop Factory Professional (& Developer) with EziMerchant.
I decided to go with Shop Factory Professional in the end because EziMerchant has no option NOT be tied in with a pre-defined Payment Gateway.
Shop Factory Professioanl allows for "free" sending of orders, etc by encrypted email or to select your own Payment Gateway.
For ease of use I would say that having compared the EziMerchant demo & read all the information against having used Shop Factory Professional that in my opinion Shop Factory Professioanl (or Developer) is definitely the way to go."
