"The only problem I have with the software is that I cannot get the item table to display on the view cart or checkout page. I suspect that the language scripts are not being executed, but I have reviewed the code numerous times and cannot see why it will not work. "

"I am marking this way up as it truly is a simple cart to implement!
If, like me, you have an existing HTML based website then this is worth serious consideration.
Do yourself a favour and make sure you check out their forum as it is very active and heaps of mods have been done to the scripts by fanatical users!
I need to make one point very clear - although the script is simple to implement and works very well, if it doesn't work exactly as required you will need to take a crash course in Javascript to alter it so it DOES suit.
Unfortunately I've started looking elsewhere because it was going to be too darn difficult for me to alter the script to calculate totals properly due to all the delivery and payment methods we use. Having said that, NOPCart is still worthy of the rating I've given.

"NopCart is a free JavaScript shopping cart that does not need web server CGI access to function. Nowdays every browser supports JavaScript, and with the use of NOSCRIPT tags, those very few who have turned it off are alerted to re-enable it during the duration of their shopping experience. This script also features the ability to have your products on many pages you do not have to have all of your products on one page, like so many of the other solutions. This complete, simple to use shopping cart is easy to implement on almost any site. All that is required is pasting in the source code on every page that you can purchase products from, and on the final checkout page.
NopCart works extremely well & is very easy to use even for those with limited JavaScript knowledge.
